"What a little hidden gem in Sea Point! The staff here are absolutely awesome – super friendly and welcoming, which immediately sets the tone for a great experience. We tried some of their cakes and quiche, and they were absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. The vibe is so lekker and chill, perfect for a relaxed coffee or bite to eat. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re in the area!"

"I love Norfolk Deli! I normally come here for the crookie, but today I had breakfast with my family, and it surely didn’t disappoint… The oats I had were so thick, flavourful and rich. I loved every warm bite. The pesto sandwich was packed with a nice garlic taste, and the breakfast croissants had a good glaze of chives on-top of bacon and eggs! The waiters were cool, fun and patient. The atmosphere of sitting outside was calm and peaceful, especially near the ocean in Sea Point on a calm road. I will definitely be back as usual!"

"Really great spot for a solo day, hang with friends, or simple breakfast time shenanigans. They are work-from-home friendly here so if you need to be on a laptop there is space to do so. They have seating indoors and outdoors, and you can order in or takeout. Menu has a list of coffees, and various breakfast foods. We ordered a hot chocolate which was amazing! The chai was good but not super amazing. The food, however, was very delicious. Staff will bring you water upon request. I definitely recommend if you want something yummy to eat!"

"The Norfolk Deli is an absolute gem. Tucked away on Norfolk Road and not directly on the main Sea Point strip, it has a far more relaxed, laid-back atmosphere — with fewer cars passing and none of the constant taxi hooting that comes with the busier streets. We arrived mid-morning on a Saturday and, although it was buzzing, we were seated immediately. The team were friendly and welcoming, greeting us with warm smiles that set the tone for a lovely visit. Our drinks arrived promptly. While the food service was slightly slower — likely due to the Saturday rush — it didn’t bother us at all. It gave us the perfect excuse to slow down, unwind, and enjoy a few peaceful pages of my book. The food was delicious. The fire egg sandwich was a definite standout, and adding extra bacon took it to another level entirely. The oats were equally impressive — generous in portion and full of flavour — so much so that we couldn’t quite finish them. All in all, The Norfolk Deli strikes the perfect balance between quality, atmosphere, and warmth, making it a spot we’ll happily return to again and again."
